About Us

Welcome to Simply.Painted.Pages. My name is Courtenay, owner of SPP. 

 
I am the woman behind the SPP show, I am the designer, artist, social media correspondent, shipping manager, and sales associate. Currently I am a one woman show, but hopefully soon we will expand a little bit. 

As far as a little background on me. I am a milspouse and mom of two. I have lived in 3 countries and 2 states so far in my life. Two years ago I was diagnosed with ADHD and while it didn't change me, I find that I understand myself a little more.

I am very much a people person, I work incredibly hard to make sure every single customer is happy with their products and I take pride in what I have built here.

SPP started when we were living in the UK during lockdown 2020. The kids were home from school and we couldn't leave the house for anything except necessities and I thought "Painting books doesn't look so hard." I spent my time teaching myself to paint books and with encouragement from my friend Kristi, author Olivia Wildenstein, and my mother...SPP was born.

In my shop I try to focus on indie authors because they are the ones who got me here and honestly most of my favorite books are self-published and I wanted to help smaller authors in any way that I could, and well, here we are. 

So yeah, that's a brief synopsis of my story. I cannot wait to work with you all and welcome to Simply.Painted.Pages!
